ABOUT THE COMPANY

Star San Duo manufactures, modernizes, repairs and sells commercial vehicles, construction machinery and engineering equipment for the Armed Forces and specialised vehicle bodies, e.g., mobile cranes-hoists, portable cranes, hydraulic truck hoists (HDS), basket lifts, autorails.
The Company has been operating since 2002 as an entity with a goal to satisfy a high market demand for the services of repair and delivery of specialist vehicles. While facing a competition, the key to Star San Duo success is flexibility, adjusting the product to the individual Client needs, a high quality and professional technical consulting. The atypical projects as the Company’s speciality are unavailable from most of the competitors who offer standard goods only.
In 2016 Star San Duo expanded its offer with the sales of second-hand autorails of renowned manufacturers. For a few years Star San Duo has established many contacts and acquired experience in the railway sector. Thanks to its ongoing development, the staff has acquired an indispensable knowledge to service and to develop new railway systems.
The high quality of the services to cover designing, production as well as commercial and service operation is attested to by, accepted and implemented, Quality Management System PN-EN ISO 9001:2015-10, AQAP 2110:2016 and by the licence granted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration for a manufacture and trading in military goods and technology. Besides, the Company enjoys the rights granted by the Technical Supervision Authority, the Military Technical Supervision Authority for a modernization, repair and maintenance of special equipment, e.g., cranes, mobile platforms and lifting jacks as well as by the Transport Technical Supervision and the Military Technical Supervision for a tanker truck modernization and repair.
STAR SAN DUO is an authorised Fassi service, it offers comprehensive services of diagnostics, maintenance, servicing and overhaul and repair of the lifting equipment of the Fassi brand which, day by day, becomes more and more popular on the Polish specialist equipment market.
Many-year experience with Jelcz – Laskowice vehicles allows the Company for the Jelcz brand servicing authorization.
One of the Company’s mainstay operations is to provide servicing and technical service, guarantee repairs, post-guarantee inspections and overhauls, running and post-accident repairs of Jelcz military vehicles.
The Company is very attentive to the overhauls, servicing and inspections of vehicles for the Polish Army. All the works are carried out compliant with the manufacturer’s documentation and guidelines.

STAR SAN DUO is a leading author in the “Ścieżka STAR-a” education project.
In 2018, to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the launch of the STAR truck manufacture in Starachowice, the “Ścieżka STARa” education
path was created. Star San Duo has purchased and refurbished those historic vehicles.
In the streets of the town the following trucks have been placed:
• Star 28 next to the Galardia Shopping Centre
• Star 25 in E. Masalski Square in Ostrowiecka Street
• Star 266 at the President Lech Kaczyński Roundabout
• Star 660 at the Starachowice Miners Roundabout
• WATER TRUCK STAR 660 M2 at the intersection of Iłżecka Street and Krańcowa Street.
“Ścieżka STAR-a” has been created to honour the truck creators, designers and workers who have worked in the Truck Factory.
